I just feel paper can be misleading and I only use stats to back up what I already have seen w/ my own eyes.
Just don't see how someone can find the same value in these games off paper, then the bigger schools that you know the starting 5 and most of the bench by heart, you know? How do you guys capp coaching adjustments and matchups (which I feel are the most important things in capping, along w/ motivation.) I mean I don't even know who their coach is, or what style they play, or how their tempo matches up w/ their opponet?

I guess that I am mostly a stats/trends handicapper since I don't watch a ton of college hoops. I am finding out that it always looks tons better on paper this time of the year since I really don't know what to expect out of certain teams. Football is my sport but I am trying to learn basketball as something to get me by until football season and in such a way that I can still attempt to cap games while I am busy working as well.
