They're absolutely an elite team. And Lickliter's teams are notorious for minimizing possessions and playing great defense, so this shouldn't come as a great surprise.

I think you guys might both be right. Certainly elite teams have off-shooting nights (as a Bruin, I know this VERY well).

However MSU is still sitting on 25 with 30 mins gone by against a 7-9 Iowa team that is 0-3 in conference. Gonna be tough to argue MSU's case much after this one.

Rjt you have proven your point and I stand corrected...I hope MSU does well and I think Drew Neitzel is one of the best Point guards in the country. This was a bad defeat for them though and their shooting was terible
