Well, after a good start to the season I'm down to 7-5 ATS overall. I thought Missouri St. would hang in there, but they let it slip away. Looking to bounce back today. Considering Rhode Island -2, and looking at the Notre Dame/Kansas St. game, but can't make up my mind there. Both teams have lost 2 games to the only good teams they've faced. K State impressed me against Oregon, but Notre Dame's 3 pt. % is a huge factor, being at home, and a better D point to the Irish. Still unsure. Any imput would help.

I like Kstate a lot in this game. Bill Walker is getting healthier and better every game. ND has a frontline that might be better suited for the NFL and will bang the crap out of beasley, but Beasley is a freak and shouldn't have any trouble getting by any of the ND Defenders. Rebounds should be a toss up in this game. The x factor is the 3 ball....

One other point. ND may only be giving up 60 pts per, but look who they have played. Throw out the Long Island and Monmouth game and the give up 69 pts.

    72-70 Kstate

I am rolling with Kstate +6 as well... I look for alot of the attention on beasley who will continue to do his thing, and for Walker to est. himself as a go to guy. Concerns however lie with the 3ball and free throw shooting. Hopefully Kstate jumps out on top early and makes the notre dame team really start pressing the issue.Lets Cash

Not a real home game but a small home edge in my opinion since Notre Dame plays at MSG every year in the Big East tournament. I figure they're used to playing in the building compared to K Sate and probably will have more fans in the stands to.

Same thing with Memphis. USC has played all their games in Cali excpet one where as Memphis was playing in MSG about 2 weeks ago in an early season tournment.

Playing teams that are familar with the atmosphere and building can cause K State and Usc to fall behind early. But USC and K State could just be the better team and keep it close. Don't really have a play in mind but GL every one.

Okay Jpound, your boys are playing tonight. Bowling Green +1 @ Northern Colorado. I noticed Bowling Green was out-rebounded 68-24 in their loss to Oakland last Saturday. N. Colorado hasn't been out-rebounded since their first game of the year, a game in which they shot 68% from the floor, won and covered. Also, N. Colorado is 5-0 ATS. Bowling Green has had a bit tougher schedule, but the only losses for N.Colorado are both road games and they are at home tonight. I'd like your insight, if you have an opinion.

Alright fellas here is my opinion on Thursday

I jumped on the opending line of Butler -9.5

Well on the BG game...After doing some research on the game it appears N. Colorado's 2nd best scorere in Taibi is questionable for the game with a knee injury that prevented him from playing last game. They also have another player questionable who contributes 5 ppg. N. Colorado is turning the ball over almost 10 times more per game than BG which will be huge if that happens tonight. Overall I like Louis Orr to get the team motivated after a very disapointing loss to Oakland. Especially if Taibi is a no go for the game it will be very hard for N Colo. to keep it close... i like the falcons in this one. Lets Cash!

Breaking news on the BG game.... N. Colo has another injury just released and it is their 3rd leading scorer. Figures has a hurt ankle and may miss tonites game vs BGSU... That means their 2nd and 3rd leading scorer is out and a guy that contributes 5 a game. I took the falcons before, now I am feeling even more confident. Lets Cash!

Projected lineups for the BG vs N. Colo game. My own opinion of course because of the injuries to N. Colo.

    Bg

    g- Miller 6'4 225lbs 14.5 ppg 5.4 reb 2.3 ast
    g-Hamblet 6'6 170lbs 11.1 ppg 3.6 reb 5.4 ast
    f- Knight 6'7 210lbs 15.3 ppg 6.0 reb 1.3 ast
    f-Clements 6'4 190lbs 6.1 ppg 3.7 reb 2.3 ast
    c- Larson 6'9 230lbs 8.0 ppg 3.0 reb 1.3 blks

bench goes 3-4 more deep with a combined avg of 15pts

    N. Co

    g- Panagi... 5'11 164lbs 5.8 ppg 2.8 reb 3.3 ast
    g- Palacios 6'1 190lbs 6.7 ppg 5.8 reb 2.7 ast
    f- Banks 6'7 230lbs 12.8 ppg 6.0 reb 0.3 ast
    f- Mason 6'5 170lbs 8.7 ppg 4.0 reb 1.2 ast
    c-Montgomery 6'7 230lbs 6.0 ppg 3.8 reb 0.5 ast

bench goes 3 deep with a combined avg of 12 pts

Huge advantage for BG if indeed N. Colo has 3 guys out hurt 2 of them being their number 2 and 3 leading scorers.
