Detroit - Starting G Brandon Cotton (suspension) is expected to miss the 2007-2008 season. Cotton led the team in scoring a year ago at 18.1 ppg.

Santa Clara - Key reserve C Joshn Higgins (knee) will miss 4-5 weeks. Backup F Scott Thompson (appendectomy) missed the last 3 games and is questionable Monday vs Utah.

San Diego State - Backup F Tim Shelton (knee) missed last game and is questionable Monday vs San Diego. Starting PG Ritchie Williams (suspension) returned in last game after missing first three.

San Diego - Forward Daniel Fleming has not played yet this season and will miss 2-4 more weeks. Fleming will either be a starter or one of the first players off the bench.

Illinois Chicago - Starting G Robert Bush (knee) missed the last three games and is very questionable Monday vs Witchita State. Reserve F Billy Baptist (disciplinary) is out for the season.

Charlotte - G Michael Gerrity (eligibility) is out until the second semester. Gerrity is a transfer from Pepperdine who could start at PG.

Marquette - Reserve G Scott Christopherson (knee) is out indefinitely. Reserve F Trevor Mbakwe (knee) is out for the season.

Oklahoma State - Reserve G Brad Garrett (hamstring) is out until early December.

Illinois - Key Reserve Jamar Smith (suspended) is expected to miss the entire 2007-2008 season.

UCLA - Starting G Darren Collison (knee) missed the last 3 games and is expected to miss once again. Collison was considered by many a first round talent if he had chosen to leave school last year. Backup F James Keefe (shoulder) is expected to miss a month. Backup F Michael Roll (foot) is expected to miss 2 to 4 weeks.

Maryland - Reserve F Dave Neal (shoulder) missed last game and is doubtful for Monday.

Missouri - Reserve F Darryl Butterfield (suspended) is out indefinitely

LSU - Starting guard Tasmin Mitchell (ankle) has been limited in practice but is probable Monday. He did take part in some non-team drills and was being held out primarily to hopefully be closer to full strength for the game on Monday. G/F Dameon Mason (heart) and F/C Quintin Thornton will miss Maui Tournament.
