VCU has beat Houston the past 2 years, once in Houston and last year, by 18 at home. Now the two teams square off in San Juan and VCU looks to make it 3 wins in a row. Houston's forte is to run, run and run some more. Obviously teams that play this type of style offer little resistance on the defensive end. Meanwhile, VCU is the exact opposite as they rely on great defense and ball control. I'll take a team who plays good defense and doesn't turn the ball over any day over a team that plays street ball. VCU's Maynor and Shuler will outplay Houston's McKiver and Dowell and VCU will advance in San Juan.
fuk, its kinda early to be hoopin it isnt it?? these kids will still have the cobwebs and morning shits working. vcu lost a couple key scorers from last yr. and i think your right, they look to slow it way down...under 143 for me.
