    Sunday

time change snuck up on me. small card, only 4 games, but all big ones. 1H lines aren't even up yet, and have to leave to play some hoops soon, and depending upon how i shoot, may not be back to computer until after 1.

here's how i forecast the first 3. saving the Big Ten final until this afternoon.

Georgia Tech (+9.5) vs Duke (137.5) – Duke, 70-63 (NC)
Mississippi State (+7.5) vs Kentucky (138.5) – Kentucky, 66-61 (NC)
    Richmond (+4) vs Temple (115.5) – Temple, 66-65 (NC)

all 3 early dogs, unders in ACC and SEC, over in A10. like the SEC under best probably, then A10 over. my early play locked in is:

    3* Mississippi State/Kentucky under 138'

wish there was 1H line out for this, as that's probably better value. MSU will foul longer than usual at end and that could be dangerous for game under. will ponder A10 over for a bit. BOL to all today.

    adding

    3* Richmond/Temple over 115'

lack of 1H numbers is frustrating. like GT/Duke but going to lay off because i have a bad feeling about a high-scoring 2H with Duke FT shooting. think it's an under pace that could maybe get spoiled by elim game factor at the end. would play the 1H under if i could, but i guess the time change doesn't extend to the Caribbean. oh well. off to play hoops, BOL to all today.

    almost forgot: GO SPIDERS

i cap that game at OSU, 67-66, so Gophers +6 has some value. i'm an OSU fan but no way would i give the -4 here.

BOL to you too, Beet. i'll be pulling for the Evan the Villain Turner and the Bucks with you.

"Let's to learn new bets strategy" = fkn gold. that post sounds like a negotiation for a rub-n-tug.

    3* Miss St/UK under 138' - LOSER
    3* Richmond/Temple over 115' - LOSER

0-2 -6.6u today, 25-22 +3u for week. should've sat it out today, but too tempting. oh well, if i hadn't been in the threads, i wouldn't have had the chance to spit coffee everywhere when i saw someone refer to Kentucky as "well-coached." i haven't laughed that hard since the first time i saw Spinal Tap.

You probably would have had that over in the Temple game but the coach F-ed around when they got that big lead and they ran BS offense for 4-5 minutes where they stood around and then tried to force something in the last 10 seconds on the shot clock. Bad coaching. I was lucky I got a push on Temple for the game because they didn't deserve it. Lucky the kid from Richmond decided to foul on the last play with 0.5 seconds left.

thanks, man. i don't want to go all sour grapes after a good run yesterday, but you're right about Temple's offense the final 10 minutes. they picked UR apart with interior passing and drives early, then stopped themselves. if nothing else, i don't understand why they don't force the action a bit more and draw fouls so that UR wouldn't have had them to give later. plus, UR's not deep.

feel as if i capped both games relatively well, but that's how it goes. luck, good or bad, can make or break a pick. if greatest player ever John Wall could've only drawn iron...oh well. maybe he needs more bicep work with that fun dance of his.

yeah, the end of the Temple game ATS was an unreal moment. i wonder if he missed it on purpose as Lundquist mentioned. i can't imagine that he would've since there was no strategic advantage with only 0.5 left up 4.

i think that Seth Davis might come off as a even bigger prick than Bill Simmons.
