Kofi Cockburn or Drew Timme...who would you rather have?

Can't go wrong with either one, but gun to my head I'm taking Timme...He's a wee bit more versatile..

cockburn is a 1st team all-american...he will do good in the NBA...reminds of an old school center who can dominate down low in the paint......he will be the next "shaq" type of player if he stays healthy.

Cockburn will do well overseas in Europe. He is too slow for NBA.

Timme will be OK in NBA but not a star.

Timme in college. He will get eaten up in the nba.
Cockburn in nba as long as he has some shooters on the team. Illinois can’t hit the broad side of a barn so the double/triple teams were easy.

Why do they call him Coburn when his name is clearly Cockburn. I know that cockburn must be embarrassing, but it is what it is...

They both will have a cup of coffee in the NBA. Both are overseas guys.

Neither player is athletic enough to play in the NBA for an extended period

Timme showed last night what kind of collegiate player he is. start of the second half? he took over against a team that kicked Houston's ass twice this year
cockburner could not pass, could not do much other than dunk and score within a foot of the bucket vs Houston. he is a space eater, could make a good wwe Nxt prospect one day

2 overrated players, cockburn can't shoot and Timme can't defend or shoot.

Neither will play in the NBA for long.

Cockburn is 7' and weighs nearly 3 bills...He is probably still growing...NBA trainers and coaches will polish him up and improve his game...Hell, if Steven Adams (who played only one year at Pitt and he was mediocre at best) can make it in the NBA, then so can Cockburn...and ditto for Timme...he would make a great 6th man coming off the bench...as long as he can score consistently, there will be a roster spot for him...

Adams is a far better athlete than Cockburn, Adams is a great passer for a big, Cockburn can't shoot or pass very well, which is why he's still in college.

Timme's biggest problem in addition to not being a shooter or a good defender is he's undersized, his post game won't work in the NBA against bigger more athletic players.

Laettner was around 7 feet , Timme isn't big enough, and he's nowhere near as physical either.

Cockburn is lazy. Barely ever sets any efficient screens, his footwork is poor, and if he isn't sitting there like a houseplant on the block with his hand up waiting for the ball he isn't really ever doing anything. Doesn't get back on defense. If I was his coach he would frustrate the shit outta me
Timme is underrated. But at least I get more than a 1 dimensional bigfoot.
I take Timme 100000000% of the time.

The question was would you rather have cockburn or timme.
If you think cockburn has value "off the bench" you are kinda low key agreeing with me.
I am not saying he is useless, but I have watched waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too many times where he just doesn't even make an effort to get back on D, and that is infuriating. And also when I watch him he basically sits there, on the block, which is I guess what they want him to do, but it makes it easy to double him and play a 3 man zone up top which is what Houston did almost the entire game, and even though it was kinda close for a bit, Illinois was never really in that game. Watching the game flow and momentum you could almost feel that Houston was gonna pull away whenever they wanted to.
But back to Timme/Cockburn.......in my humble opinion off the couch.......I would just rather have Timme. If the guy can even develop a 30% three pointer he has serious NBA value. His post game is better. IDK, I just like his game better. One dimensional players annoy me. Kofi averages less than 1 assist and less than 1 block per game. Timme averages 17.5/6.5/2.7 and a block as well. I just think he gives you more, and is better for a team long term.

Oscar Tshiebwe, is better than timme and cockburn, i saw some games of kentucky this year and he was playing alone. Is the best big man in the draft for 2022

    Drew Timme 18.2 ppg 6.7r
    Cockburn. 20.9. 10.6
    oscar t. 17.4. (15.1) insane!

Timme needs to work on his defense big time. He's an offensive machine though.

Lucky to be a true 6'7" or 6'8"..

They always cheat a few inches on their height in college before going into the draft. It's good for business. Can never believe the true height of NBA players period also. Adjust 1 to 2 inches always.

Was a legit 6'7' in my 20's and early 30's. Now at 54 years old I'm 6'5" and probably still shrinking.

Getting old sucks. You shrink.. Penis too ..
