Utah @ Colorado St

Utah has seen some improvement as the season has progressed as head coach Jim Boylen has his team trying hard despite facing some very stiff competition in conference. This is revenge game for the Utes after his young team was embarrassed at home by the Rams back on February 3rd. Colorado St is a very young team that has hit the wall as they have dropped 5 straight games and playing poorly on defense. Utah is improving and Colorado St has faded.

Texas @ Baylor

Texas has not been good to their backers on the road this season as they have covered just 2 of 10 point spreads. Baylor took the first meeting back on January 30th with an 80-77 road victory as a 9 point underdog. Baylor won though not playing their best basketball committing 20 turnovers. Defensively they held the Longhorns to just 38.6% shooting. Texas’ last road performance resulted in a 74-58 loss at Texas A&M last Saturday. Baylor is playing good basketball winners of 6 of their past 7 games and enters this game with a 14-1 straight up record on their home court.

New Mexico St @ Utah St

Utah State can’t tank this game and the WAC tournament and still assume they’ll get a NCAA tourney bid, but from a motivational standpoint its a tough game for them to get ‘up’ for. They’ve already clinched the regular season crown and are naturally looking ahead to the start of the conference tournament. They’ll be facing a team that really needs the victory more at this point for more immediate reasons than bolstering their case for a NCAA tourney invite. Plus they’re laying 13′ points. New Mexico State won by 3 on their home court earlier this season, so its not like they’re not able to compete with Utah State.
