    My uncle knows a bookie and they have been friends for 40 years. His bettors throw 5,000-20,000 around like nothing. Doctors, lawyers along with average guys. Most of them lose. How much you bet isn't indicative of how good you are. Most likely those are degenerates or have money to lose

    Agreed... My brother is wealthy not rich.. He doesn't know anything about sports and he has a local guy he bets with , with the guys from his firm. They bet 5-20k like I bet $50 on a game.
