Speaking from just a wagering aspect, is overtime your friend or enemy.
I used to have a philosophy "overtime is never your friend"
I'm starting to come down off that philosophy as this Nevada game bailed out my over 143.5 wager.
This is the second consecutive night where o/t bailed out an over total bet for me.
Question?
On the whole, is overtime your friend or enemy?
Of course if your over hasnt hit then OT is your friend, I rarely bet totals though. For sides just varies I usually let it ride sometimes depending on obvious momentum then hedge, but sometimes teams on wrong side of momentum hold on in OT. Crap shoot, it sucks though when youre on a side and that team loses big in OT and score like 3 pts.
I hate is when I have the dog + points and it goes to overtime. I feel like I won the freaking game and now I have to win it again... which seems to usually lose.
It's a bonus to get overtime when you have the chalk... anything in single digits is within reach.
Seems like the first team to score in OT usually wins
