Magic Johnson could have coached the Spartans to a win today. Everyone knows you put your best offensive player in the middle of the zone, get him the ball, and let him make plays. Except Izzo. If Bridges had been in there, MSU would have won by 10.

Duke will beat Cuse by 11+ even if they shoot terribly bc Bagley will be in the middle of the zone. If they are hitting their outside shots, Duke will win by 25+

This coaching performance... to last years coaching performance.... deserves to be fired.

Guy gets too much credit in the regular season.

Izzo has lost his desire to win.

    Zero fukking talent on Syracuse

I agree.... Duke would destroy Syracuse 20+... only the refs could keep it close.

At the end of the day players have to execute. Michigan State went the last 6 mins of the game without making any FGs. Spartans were missing wide open shots.

Bingo. 32 offensive rebounds! Bad shooting didn't help at all but as coach u have to make the right decisions to help your team win. Especially when you've been coaching for 50 years like izzo u gotta know better

The part of the tourney I like the most is you can figure out who the great and weak coaches are. Not saying Izzo is weak, but he got schooled yesterday.

Cronin, Chris Mack got exposed big time yesterday.

Most of these teams reflect their coach.

Dom I listened to some of that radio link you posted, never realized how much Izzo has gotten owned by Roy, Coach K and Boeheim. I totally agree with what he said about putting Bridges in the middle of the zone. The defense didn't even collapse on Carter when he got the ball at the FT line because he didn't even look to score.

Unless you got some average talent, I wouldn't want him coaching an elite team.

I don’t think Izzo will get fired but I do believe he is living off past accomplishments. He had the team to win it all this year and he got outcoached big time in the NCAA tourney by Boeheim who has way less to work with.

I think it was 29 offensive rebounds which is obscene. How do you lose a game with that many boards and Cuse with 1 three pointer and 3 total assists? That is incredible.

This is very simple only logical explanation MSU took a fall. I only lost a few hundred on the game so I don’t bat a eye on that but this game was clearly rigged to high hell

If the Spartans fire Izzo, they will miss the playoffs for ten years.
Spartan fans need to know that nobody wants that job, unless if you're from that state

    Izzo earned every penny.
Brings MSU millions every year by being an a repeat participant in the playoffs

    Championships are overrated

Izzo gets the recruits but he seems to do a less with more now than earlier in his time at MSU. He got outcoached by one of the best in the game again and that is something that didn't happen earlier in his career at MSU. Maybe he has lost his edge and it is time for State to think about moving on. I don't think it will happen but he may have lost his best chance to win another National Title this year.
