    UGA offers former OSU coach Thad Matta head coaching job

    The final decision will be made this week.

    Any thoughts on this coach from all of the college hoops gurus?

    Is he a good hire?

    Decent hire........coming from a Xavier fan, he was always a good recruiter, but always seemed to struggle with the X's and O's and in game management. But I guess if he hires a quality staff, it won't matter too much. He has roots in the Midwest, so hopefully he can attract you some Big East and Big 10 bound talent.
