Wake Forest +4.5 and ML +175

Like the Demon Deacons in this spot. NC State knocked off Duke and rode that wave to a victory over Clemson but came back to earth with a 17 point loss to Virginia. Look for Wake to get hot from the perimeter tonight and pick up the W.

    Wake Forest +4.5 -110 (2x); ML +175 (1x)

Very interesting. Line movement so far suggests you’re on the right track, although the pack do some of their best work at home. Going to look into this further

Thoughts on wazzou getting 8 on the rd to the buffs?? Don’t think Colorado justifies getting nearly double digits at home...

Possible letdown spot for Colorado after winning at UCLA.

Hate small road dogs. Home faves generally are the way to go. But this seems right

I looked really hard at this one and was pretty close to playing wake but couldn't do it, so they probably win easily, lol. Gl Wizzle.

They been dog shit, odd cause they showed so well in that tourney early in the season knocking off 3 quality teams by playing amazing in the second halves. Been all down hill from there, since then they only have 3 wins vs god awful teams and bunch of ugly ass losses. Wouldn't be shocked if buffs beat them by double digits. Not touching it tho.

This line has held pretty steady after initially dropping from 5 to 4.5.

    Same.

In college teams freak out when they're only down 3-4 points and start jacking threes way too early. Then they continue to foul, foul, foul until they're down by like double digits. Happens all the time.

Tonight Wake Forest lead much of the second half and was winning the game with 2 minutes left....then they procedeed to lose by 9 points. NC State actually missed 4 free throws in the final two minutes or this would have been a 11-13 point win after they were losing the game near the end of regulation.

    It's unreal.

In the NBA, teams are much smarted and more efficient in the final minute. Even when NBA teams are down like 6-7 in the final minute, they don't start that fouling crap. The fouling doesn't start until they absolutely have to (ex. when the shot clock is turned off). I'm not sure why college kids will foul down 3 with 42 seconds left and crap like that.

well maybe the shot clock is almost 40 seconds and none of these kids can hit 2 free throws in a row . Add to that possibility of 1 and 1 situations and it’s obvious why fouls occur more frequent and earlier.
if you don’t foul down 3 with 42 seconds on the clock you are making a huge mistake.
still sucks to lose a bet this way, but it all evens out in the long run anyway.

1 and 1 in the last few minutes a game is pretty much non existent anymore. Most games, Im seeing teams in the double bonus with 13 minutes to go in the half. Refs really making these games difficult to watch.

Down 3 with 42 seconds it makes no sense to start the foul game, play defense and get the ball back with 12-20 seconds on the clock only down 3. Why foul and let them push the lead to more than one possession?

    That’s what I’m saying. It’s a 30 second shot clock now.

Most college players can’t take the shot clock down to 1 second and create their own shot so most of the time they’re not going to run the entire 30 seconds off the clock anyway.

Reglu8er is right. Most teams are in the double bonus with like 8 minutes to go.

You don’t play the foul game until you absolutely have to. You don’t jack contested threes when you don’t need them.

A team is more likely to make free throws than they are a pressure jump shot as time is running down.

    Just my opinion.
