College Basketball is ONLY 2 Weeks Away!

Can't wait for the season to tip off on Friday Nov. 10th!

Let's take a look at a few futures I like:

    Kansas 16/1
Once again Kansas will have the best backcourt in the country. This is Devonte Graham's team this year, and he gets help from Vick who was a stud on offense in high school but made great strides last season with lock down defense, and Missouri State transfer Malik Newman who was one of the top recruits in the nation out of high school. Sharp shooter Graham scored 25 on 6 or 13 from deep last week in a charity exhibition game vs. Michael Porter Jr. and his much improved Mizzou squad. Down low they get Azubuike back who's freshman season was cut way short last year to injury. Azubuike is a monster of a man and dominated in the McDonald's All American game vs. the other elite freshman from last year. Bill Self could have quite a season by beating himself and John Wooden to get the single longest major conference title streak with his 13th Big 12 title and a National Championship to go with it.

    Florida 33/1
Mike White's Gators return a strong and experienced backcourt with last year's buzzer beating tournament hero Chiozza along with KeVaughn Allen and top Rice transfer Koulechov. Down low they lost Robinson but will rely on Egbunu & Hayes. This team should be a top 10 team throughout the season and there's so much value in getting them anything 20/1 or more.

    UConn 100/1
Jalen Adams could lead this under the radar squad to the promised land, so 100/1 odds is just great value. Hey, Shabazz & Kemba did it, why not Jalen?

Michigan State is currently at 6/1 but could jump a little if they fall to Duke on Super Tuesday in Chicago. I love this MSU team this year, but for some reason Coach K and Roy Williams seem to have Izzo's number.

What do you guys think? All in on Bagley & Duke? Someone else you have high expectations for? Let me know!

My favorite sport to bet without a doubt. Should be a fun year. I need to go get my college hoops preview magazine.

It's not everyone's cup of tea. I personally think it's a much better product than the NBA. Obviously CBB isn't as popular as the NFL, but maybe that's why there's more opportunity to win.

I've been crushing college hoops on SBR for 5 years now. Gonna make some major money this season!

I wouldn't make a play on Duke, unless it's only a couple units. Yea yea yea we see this every year so and so has the top recruiting class, but with Duke the question is what Grayson Allen is going to show up and how fast is the team going to mold and gel.

Oh for sure. They shouldn't surprise anyone though, WSU already in preseason top 10. Shockers play Cal, Baylor, Oklahoma & Oklahoma State all before AAC action so we'll have a good measuring stick.

They should be a front runner to win the AAC this year along with Cincy, and maybe Uconn. The rest of AAC could be a little down as Memphis is left barren, SMU & Houston won't be quite as good as last year. Wichita State has the advantage of being unfamiliar to these teams, and they have a wicked home court advantage, but will be going against bigger teams who hit the offensive glass much harder than the MVC did.

Best not be forgetting about the champs now, led by the general. No PG can even touch his nuts.

Picked up USA Today preview. Not bad. $5, and the right level of detail.

Nice conference breakdowns, w/ All-Conference lists.

    Pass.

They lost a lot of talent, and nobody goes back to back in ncaa basketball in this day and age.

Let's be honest, UNC wasn't even the best team last year. Kentucky should've beat them in the tourney and Gonzaga couldn't help but shit the bed in the finals.

UNC wasn't the best team?? They dominated the glass and second chance points after losing on a buzzer beater the year before. UK should've won?? they got beat on a buzzer beater same feeling UNC had year prior. I get that you probably hate the Heels..also Florida back to back wasn't that long ago and UNC made back to back champs

How quickly we forget... UNC - Zags final was a shit game, one of the least entertaining championship games in years. UNC - UK was a complete sham, when UK's top three players sat on the bench after getting 3 quick fouls each in the first 5-10 min of a game. I thought those refs should've been fired. Even with their NBA talent on the bench UK came back but got beat by a Luke Maye lucky, improbable shot. Now UNC has their PG back but lost a lot of height, experience, and NBA caliber talent in the front court. Yeah. Good luck repeating... Not a fukkin chance.

I'm beyond pumped, Dom. Should be an easy 50%+ roi if we're smart.

I'd say I'm all caught up with who's in & who's out, the top freshmen and transfers. I've been checking on exhibition games, posted about a couple notable ones:

Kansas beat Mizzou; Porter looks like the real deal and should get mizzou into the big dance. KU has best backcourt in Graham, Vick, Svi, and Malik Newman who was the #2 freshman in nation 2 years ago and transferred from Miss State. Newman was great for KU over the summer playing in Italy. Big man McDonald All American Azubuike is back after an injury ruined his freshman season. Preston is a big time freshman scorer.

Auburn lost to a D2 school; enough said

MSU beat Georgia; Yante Maten scored 30+ in 30 minutes for the Bulldogs. Bridges is really fukkin good. Winston is taking over at PG.

Yep I started off horrible last year, but ended up with a profitable year for the 4th year in a row on SBR.
