But honestly, this year I could see 8-10 diff teams with REAL shots at winning it ALL. I actually have futures on all these teams, KU & MSU a lot, and then the others a sprinkle (.2u) each with these odds locked in:

KU - 16/1 & 10/1
MSU - 25/1 & 12/1

Indiana - 25/1
Maryland - 12/1
Kentucky - 14/1
Iowa State - 20/1
Uconn - 30/1
Syracuse - 65/1
Florida State - 100/1

The first thing I look at is guardplay and IMO the top 10 PGs in the country are Melo Trimble, Fred VanVleet, Kris Dunn, Tyler Ullis, Monte Morris, Yogi Ferrell, Nic Moore, Sterling Gibbs, Demetrius Jackson, Frank Mason and honorable mention to Denzel Valentine whos not a true PG but plays as a top 3 PG in clutch situations.

Then add in coaching, big men, experience...

I'll take Marcus Paige come tournament time over everyone listed, but maybe I'm biased. Aj English prob better than most on that list as well but Iona is trash.

Makes sense, better teams The last few years yet they're ranked #1 for the first time in school history and are more experienced.

I I think a lot of you are going to be surprised come tournament time, very well rounded team. No weak spot

Dark horse team will be Iowa State. They're loaded and can play pressure D. They've got a big man with skills. Just not sure if they can win consistently on neutral courts.

That defense is way too weak, they can shoot with the best with em but that will only get so far in the tournament imo.

You have one of the best tournament coaches in the nation, with a team improving every game, and a star PG in Isiah Taylor. They are hoping to get cameron Ridley back by big 12 tournament as well, which would be huge.

They won 7/9 w/ 2 losses on the road by single digits to kansas and okie (which lots of people are picking up there w/ the favorites to win)

Its wide open, and no reason this doesn't have a chance to hit, and can always hedge along the way 60-1 ish...

Flipper, AJ English is not a top 10 PG. Top 25 probably. He's got the scoring and assists, but could improve defensively and lower turnovers. He's good, but at a lower level.

Paige was left off my list becuase I don't like him. He often starts slow and it's like he's taking the 1H off. Totally streaky and he's in a cold slump right now. Just not the type of PG I see pulling a team to the ship. But you're right, he's top-10 talent and probably better than Moore or someone else on the list.

This whole spill about "nova always does the same thing every year" is quite funny to me, since the whole team is now more experienced than ever. About time they break through

thats what I've learned to do, the moment I second guess it I've already lost more times than not. I'm praying unc gets it together for $ and fan interest wise
