she has had 2 runners who didn't win a race in 17 starts.. a 3yo filly who hasn't raced yet (medaglia d'oro).. probably fact that she hasn't started yet is not a good sign.. maybe this will be the one

her owners just pay the stallion fee I guess.. maybe with a horse of her accomplishments they get a small piece of the foal but I think it's just the former

the owners of Zenyatta pay a Stud fee, they then own the foal

yes that would make sense if they wanted own a piece of the foal
but it's best to pay the stud fee and sell the yearling at auction for big bucks, hopefully
think of it as an investment.

I don't believe she had any problems with her first couple, but did later on.
she lost two foals that I know of, one was an accident and the other was a few days later, or something like that.
she wasn't breed in 2015
