    Here's a Vegas spread

    Eastern Michigan (5-0) {at home}; "only" -2.5 to Detroit (0-4) {on road}.

    Eastern should comfortably cover this number, better team & on their home-court. Yet Vegas throwing that fish line out with the -2.5

    I've done so much better over the last year and a half just using my guts and instincts as opposed to looking into all of the numbers and states. I'm beginning to think my eyes are one of the best tools I have.

Pro sports are a different animal. Take baseball for example, we all know why it's stupid to lay a ton of juice in that sport. NFL lines are usually super sharp and NBA, well who the hell knows. Anything can happen. It's more about the spot, situation, and trying to figure out which team is going to care about the game than anything.
