Early morning tipoff 10am in Florida, a few hours before NFL kickoff. Both Iowa & Wichita State are coming off a pair of losses.

The Shockers will be without two of their best players - star PG VanVleet remains out, and their best forward Anton Grady hurt his back Friday night in a scary injury where he was carted off on a stretcher. Thankfully he will be okay, but he won't be playing yet. But this poses a big matchup problem as Iowa runs a lot of offense thru 7'1" Woodbury and 6'9" Uthoff. Shockers can unleash Bush Wamukota down low but odds are he just gets in foul trouble and can't hold his own against a much more skilled Woodbury.

Shockers can play all out to get a win before heading home, or they could pack it in and cut their losses, head home without any more injuries. Idk but with these losses I see Iowa taking advantage and covering the spread here...

Well the play went exactly as I expected. Wamukota fouled out with only 2 points and 2 rebounds. Uthoff and Woodbury combined for 37 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. Iowa was up as many as 30, and won by 22.
