These teams played each other last year in the tourney under almost identical conference records to this year and MSU won that game. This year, a couple of the MSU players who had small roles in that win have blossomed into scoring machines: Trice (15 ppg) and Valentine (15 ppg). When you throw in Dawson, who scored 24 points aginst UVA in last year's game, I've seen enough. But just for the hell of it, I'll add that MSU has gone 7-2 ATS in road/neutral games since Feb 1, while UVA has gone 4-4. And MSU took possibly the second best team in the county (Wisconsin) into overtime in the last meeting and only lost by 7 at Wisconsin earlier this year. UVA backers will use the revenge angle, but revenge doesn't put the ball through the hoop.
