    Field vs #1 seeds...Yes?

-175 or so for the field. This year is as good as any for this bet.

    Wichita ....no
    Virginia. ...I don't think so.
    Arizona....already have their futures.
Florida....possibly but lot of mines in field.

People with good arizona/florida futures should lock this in.

K13 I was literally making this exact post

This is a no-brainer. I'd even think that FIELD vs. 1-2 seeds has some value at -110.

Have Arizona 12-1 from way back so not worried about them.

I can see not one top seed get to final four, excellent value bet. I think impossible to get hurt.

Can anyone find or get odds on a 4 seed winning it all? Louisville/Mich State/UCLA/SDSU, only one I think you can count out here is SDSU. UCLA would be a longshot, but at my book right now Louisville/Mich State/Florida are all +550 to win it.

I would take the 1 seeds over the field. Only 2 non-1 seeds scare me... Louisville and Mich State. I think the winner will come from Florida/Arizona/Wich St/Louisville/Mich State. One of those 5 will win it.

Florida the only realistic 1 seed with a chance of winning it all. your basically getting field vs florida at that number. its a no brainer indeed.

    Thu 3/20 10207 #4 seed wins NCAA Tournament +245
    12:15PM 10208 Field wins NCAA Tournament -290

second shortest odds behind the #1 seeds, with Louisville/Michigan State in there.

    Thu 3/20 15709 No #1 seeds in Final 4 +275
    12:15PM 15710 At least one #1 seed in Final 4 -335

Another interesting one, but not as much value. Zona seems like a cakewalk to Final 4.

yeah Arizona is the issue there

Arizona maybe the third or fourth best team but they got a joke of a region.

So it'd be tough to bet no 1s in the final four.

Certainly no dominant team, but the #1s play some of the best defense in the country. Florida & Arizona would be the two that scare me.

You could argue the four No. 1s play the best defense in the country.

I honestly don't see anyone BUT one of the No. 1s winning it all this year. Florida, Arizona and Wichita are head-and-shoulders above every other team in the country right now -- including trendy "darkhorse" picks Louisville and Michigan State. I'm normally a big upset/dog guy, but I have the Shockers and Gators in the FF, and probably Arizona, too.

Yeah and Virginia isn't getting much love but they play sound D and run great offense with a great coach.

Louisville and Michigan State are playing as well as anyone right now.

I'd gladly take the field against the 1s. 2 of the top 4 teams are not even number 1.

Louisville would be favored over Wichita State if they play, and Michigan State would be favored over Virginia.

If Embiid returns, KU could beat Florida.

MSU has been playing well for three games. Before that, they were a trainwreck because of the injuries. I have MSU in the FF like everyone else, but that consensus rarely works out well.

Louisville is clicking as well, but their schedule was incredibly weak and they've really beaten no one this year.

Agree re: Kansas and Embiid, but that's a HUGE if -- especially given we have no idea what kind of shape he'll be in if he returns, or what that will do to the team rhythm.

I think some underestimate KU's problems. Embiid is not a magic elixir. Sure, he will help immensely - but they had defensive lapses all season WITH Embiid. Their 1st round game could get dicey real quick because E.Kentucky can shoot the 3 something that KU has not defended well at tmes. Iowa State lit them up from 3 and didn't even take 20 attempts, but still made 11. Honestly, their best chance with or without Embiid is to climb on Wiggins back and let him Danny Manning them through the tournament.

Embiid's presence will be huge, but KU still has to up their level of play IMO to compete in this bracket.

Well yes, Embiid returning doesn't mean they'll automatically win it all.

It just gives them a better chance to beat the elite teams.

They've lost one game when healthy. One.

As for Louisville, they've won four games against opponents that were ranked at the time, and three of those were blowouts.

You could try and scalp with florida futures or Arizona depending which you feel has better chance.

Hope 5dimes has match ups odds...

Wichita St to lose S16 +180 or so...

Or take both 3rd round and s16 at plus odds...

Essentially getting plus money on Louisville.

I'm stuck at work. Hard to analyze everything.

Wichita first #1 seed to lose...-110...hmmm

Wiggins or Stauskas or Iowa State dude to be highest scorer...
Embidd out .. kind of like wiggins at +160 even though I think he's overrated at this point.

But remember this is just a push if Wichita State (Louisville) and Virgina (Michigan State) both lose in Sweet 16.
