    On defense, SMU is holding opponents to 36.2 percent from the
    field (1st American, 2nd NCAA) and 60.3 points per game (2nd
    American, 13th NCAA). SMU has held 22 of its last 29 (16 of 20
    this year) opponents under 40% shooting.

    USF offense ranked last in the AAC in scoring offense and 3 points made.
    While SMU is 6th in the conf. in scoring offense, they are only avg 27 ppg on the road, plays at a slower pace(ranked 266 in nation with possession per game)...neither team can shoot the 3 pointer.


    If SMU defense can keep USF under 25, this should sail under the the total

    I definitely like the reasoning, and have done well lately with SMU under's......but I have a tough time going under 60 in a half between anybody. Goodluck.
