Assembly Hall never easy place to win at, but Iu is young and figuring out roles etc... Stoneybrook 3-0, nice combo of both inside/outside threats, and experienced team. IU will struggle with SB ability to pound it inside. Grab the 10.. Sad to say but an outright wouldn't surprise me here.....
I think the experience is going to be enough to get the cover at least. The deliberate pace that Stony will play could very easily frustrate the young Hoosiers who want to get out and run. As long as IU doesn't go to the line 50 times or get several second chance points I think Stony keeps this close to the end
IU is a good team but i think with the new foul rules id take the 11 1/2. SB likes to stay inside like u said and if they set the pace out home with nice long posessions and finish with high % shots or a foul near the end of shot clock they will cover. Stupid quick low % shots will be the death of them today
Long Island had them beat.. I agree with your assessment on the pace SB will want to establish. Iu running is a strength, but their shooters won't arrive until next year. The over might a solid small play?
Nah stick with a side. Both d's could show up and stay under and thats what u want both d's to show up for a close game to cover. Dnt bet against urself
Sunday afternoon game, 5:00 PM tip, i have IU winning by 15, 87-72. IU should out rebound SB on the offensive glass by 15-20 % translating into about 8-12 POT for IU, this is where the 11.5 pts is eroded. The reason I do not like the over is that IU can hold them to scoring in the 60's it will kill the over. I like IU -11.5 for 2 units. I won Friday night on IU for 2, so I am doubling down today.
SB rebounds 31, turnovers 14 + 17 overall, IU 46/17 for a plus 29, 12 differential 50% field goal percentage = 6 POT, original spread 11.5 + 6 = 17.5 pts. IU wins by 16. I had IU winning by 15 87-72. That foul trouble helped us a well.
