Random thought, seems like I've been on the right end of a lot of plays that move almost IMMEDIATELY after it opens. Tailing moderate steam is never a bad idea if you can get the line within 2 points of the best line. No great handicapper bets a game in which they have an edge of less than 2 points. I would say most see 3+ points of value in the plays they bet so why not ride the steam?
You will never know if steam is caused by sharp bettors or not.
I could pick any random game right now pound the fukk ouf it and the line would move across the board.
Furthermore most lines do not even provide 3 pts of value.
I would have no problem having a 1% edge on every bet.
Afterall your thought process is not a bad one at least if it is applied to cbb; but betting anything blindly will lead you to the poorhouse.
