Thank Jay Bilas. What a penetrating fairy bitch. He bitched and moaned all year last year about foul calls. Jump off a bridge you idiot penetrate. Ruined the whole sport

New rules are garbage. Tough to play D with such strict enforcement of touch fouls. Might as well just make the game a free throw shooting contest. It's Sorry.

Yeah fukk college basketball. I will still bet it over NBA
but you won't catch me watching or betting a single college basketball game until there is no more football to bet.

Worst time of year is when you only have hockey and basketball to bet on.

I love college basketball but this new hand checking is absolute garbage....I'm a fan of the old big east style let em play and this is the exact opposite....why the fukk did they add this?

That KU Duke game last night was just awful....felt bad for the players of both teams getting called for literally nothing

Where is this new rule coming from? It will ruin the sport

It was the rules committee and a response to scoring being the lowest in 30 years last year ... it will suck for a while, but everyone will adjust - refs/players alike. This isn't the 1st sport to do something like this and won't be the last.

It's going to take a little time to adjust, by both players and refs. There will be growing pains but the rule change was completely needed. Well, unless you were a fan of Wisconsin/Virginia 40-38 shitfests.

i watched a lot of games yesterday...

    too many ticky-tack fouls called.

    this hand-checking fouls gotta go.

didn't see one charge called, instead the defense got called with a foul.

all these fouls resulted in star players being in foul trouble since 5 fouls is max in college.

fukk collge basketball with all these fouls and all the 1 and done hypes...

I liked the 40-38 shitfests. At least I didn't have to see these overrated penetrates shooting FT's every game.

I agree, holding in football has to go, too many ticky-tak calls.

That statement is bordering on the absurd, right? Why does the same logic not apply to basketball?

It's not a hard rule. Put two hands on a player with the ball, it's a foul. Keep one hand on the player with the ball, it's a foul.

These aren't hard rules. It's not even that hard to get used to it, as all it requires you to play is actual defense. Not the bullshit defense one plays with their hands. I can play defense with my feet, and I am not a D1 athlete.

It's pointless getting upset about these rules, because it does make the game better, and it isn't going anywhere.

As far as the charge/block rule change, that is the best rule change since they implemented a shot clock. That makes this game so much more superior than without it.

the marathon was brutal to watch. Drive to the basket, automatic foul. I don't know why players bothered shooting jumpers.
