Western Carolina has now covered three consecutive games while Furman is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games, and we look for both of those streaks to be extended today.

Besides we simply do not trust Furman giving this many points in the first place, considering that the Paladins are under .500 at 8-9 SU overall. We also do not like the fact that the Paladin defense is allowing 70.9 points per game on 47.8 percent shooting here at home, a trait that does not exude confidence in a favorite like this.

Western Carolina has been putting up a lot of points lately scoring 91 and 73 points in the last two games respectively, so the Catamounts certainly seem capable of taking advantage of the shaky Furman defense at this time. Finally West Carolina pulled off the outright 85-76 upset win the last time these two schools hooked up last season.

Furman is horrible ATS this year.
