The problem with this total is that one team figures to do most of the scoring, as we do not feel that Louisiana Tech will score enough to prevent this game from staying UNDER.

The Bulldogs are averaging an even 60.0 points per game overall, but they have been simply abysmal on the road. Louisiana Tech is averaging an anemic 58.0 points per game on the road on a pathetic 36.4 percent shooting from the floor. We do not expect any improvement vs. an LSU defense that is allowing just 53.0 points per game on 32.4 percent shooting here at home. Not surprisingly, the UNDER is 7-3 in the last 10 Bulldog road contests going back to last season.

LSU has played just three home games vs. Division I competition, and two of those contests played UNDER the total. The last time that the Tigers hosted a DI school, only 116 points were scored in a 64-52 triumph vs. Texas A&M. We look for the suffocating LSU defense to key yet another UNDER today, especially vs. a team that cannot shoot the ball.
