isu+7.5 and ml +295....lets see if im off my rocker (quite possible)..osu been on a tear and im sure not many will like this but that ok..while osu run has been impressive besides indy they have played a bunch of avg at best offensive teams which allowed them to go thru a bunch of prolonged cold spells in gms and still grind out victories, certainly something to be said for that and their defense is top notch but isu can score on anyone and just dont think tosu can go thru a really bad stretch w/o suffering the consequences in this one..sure isu has flaws (who doesnt tho) but these guys can hang with anyone when shots are falling and they have been lately..almost 3 to 1 on a team that can hang a nice number any given day vs a team that doesnt get out of the 60s all that often, sign me up..

ole piss-4..both these teams did me solid fri and i have great respect for the toughness la salle showed holding on in that kst gm in kc no less,,that said these kids looked gassed at the end and think the extra gm and travel will catch up to a jump shooting team here against a red hot sip team that should be able to do work down low and hang tough defensively until henderson gets cooking to help this team pull away...

sdst-7...can proudly say i love fla-gc after they gave me one of my fav ml wins maybe ever and became the 1st 15 seed i ever picked correctly in my bracket..now that out of the way down to business, these kids celebrated i think just a little too much in what was clearly a big time emotional win for them, im just not sure they can turn around and get back up to that level again for this gm and the fact sdst has a bunch of great athletes that gonna make life tough on them on the offensive end just compounds their problems in this one..dont like the MWC (ya may have noticed) but fisher can coach and just think this gm doesnt sets up well for the Cinderella here..it was fun fla-gc and i thank you kids for a fun night but now you get a superior athletic team that wont take you lightly...

puke/creighton ov 145..i think the blue jays can hang in this gm but just not trying to go against puke here.. need creighton to show that toughness and stick around cause a blowout a nightmare for the over but like i said think they can hang around..blue jays put up 67 on a very tough grinding cincy team so i dont see much reason they dont at least get that here and id expect 70ish leaving puke to do the rest.. i made the number higher and so hoping this a gm and if needed i get some fouling down the stretch..

Iowa St. I'm steering clear of because I work nights and on the west coast I can't make it to the Sportsbook in time but I will say that over looks good but just can't say.

Taking Miami for the same reasons. Just think they are on a mission and -7 is a good play. I like it over as well just because Illinois will be jacking 3's and I think Miami gonna hit their share too.

Duke -5 is right in Coach K's wheelhouse and betting wise too. They know either you love or hate Duke and will bet accordingly. Creighton's main man got a lite version of him that's gonna be guarding him but Kelly is smart. Dove for the loose ball up 10 and took a charge all under 2 mins. Think he's gonna either get dude in foul trouble or make it tough to where Duke doesn't have to double and no open shots for the rest of the guys.

I'm on the fence with Florida but Minnesota and Illinois are similar so I think that sums that up.

I am with you on the Ole Miss game- I think the wright up is spot on. Lasalle had a big win, but wasn't that pretty. Now on FGCU, I think they do have a legit team. If you watched that game again, they had all the advantages against G-town. The overall team was just better. (It's like when a team wins gets lucky and hits 70% of their 3's and wins the game). Well FGCU wasn't that team. They played inside/outside, cutting, hitting the boards, and playing solid D.

I was thinking of taking San Diego St, but thinking more on this. Also might stay away from the Duke game. (Might look at the over like yourself). Not sure.

Now on the Buckeyes. It seems like you hate the Big 10 Bank. Read a couple of post of yours about dogging them. I never bet on my team so I stay clear on this one. But let me say you are right- hell of a defense, and streaky offense. But if you watch any of their games (like I have) through the 2nd half of the schedule, the offense has been raised to another level. You talk about ISU putting up points. (Didn't Iona have the 2nd best team in pts per game) Held them to nothing. I know ISU and Iona is a diferent caliber, but as much as you are not a Big 10 fan, I am not a Big 12 fan. Everyone gets excited about them, but I think the Big12 is over-rated.

Just my opinion. I do like most of your picks though. Excpecially the canes pick.

yea not gonna get into who's offense is better between iona and isu cause that argument doesnt really hold water imo..and yes i may be a little bit of a admitted big 10 hater but i do have mich in my final 4 and indy in elite 8 so guess not totally biased, it more the physical big 10 teams that build their rep in conf and didnt beat anyone out of conf (think osu and wiscy)cause it no secret you can get away with murder in big 10 play so grinders can do well but that doesnt always hold true in the tourney..not huge big 12 fan this yr either but i do recall ku taking it to osu in their house this season and im not all that high on ku (before you tell me they beat isu 3 times i will say isu won 2 of those gms no matter what the score says)... all said ive been wrong plenty in my life and certainly could be wrong here cause isu treats defense as optional and they have no sense of clock and time management but again im getting damn near 3 to 1 and i just feel that not exactly a accurate assessment of their chances....

far as fgcu goes i agree it was far from flukish, but if you think i hate the big 10 you should have heard me talk about gtowns garbage no offense having asses this season, truth be told i prob was fading them regardless of who they played cause if you havnt noticed a theme with me is this time of year i dont like teams that struggle to put the ball in the hole, was just icing on the cake they drew a battle tested fgcu club that had already knocked off the U..far as this gm goes while yea fgcu has athletes and executes sdst has longer stronger athletes, wont be taking them lightly, isnt getting out coached, so all things being equal i think the story ends here..

would be hell of a story for sure,,honestly wouldnt even break my heart to lose that one cept for fact it would negate the huge adv i got in my brackets by picking them to beat gtown and putting sdst in sweet 16 where almost everyone in my money brackets had gtown going at least that far..again tho i just dont think sdst will let them have all those back cuts and shit that got them layups and dunks at the rim, take that away and you left with a team that of not that great shooters, arnt gonna be getting offensive boards, and will give up transition baskets to sdst, just dont think the matchup is good but we shall see.. gl with your plays
