Did the committee do a bad job with the seedings?

Upsets are more common now and I remember 2 #2 seeds losing early last year. However this year it seems like multiple teams got more credit then they deserve and are simply not that good. Gonzaga for example played nobody the regular season and should have been likely a #2 seed at best. It looks like besides 7-8 teams the rest of the teams are all mediocre and none of them really stand out and it looks like theirs more parity this year than the past few years

No. They actually seeded pretty well I think. You have to look at it like this; every year these kids are getting more and more athletic. In recent years the tournament has been lopsided. All the talent going to certain schools, now that's not so much the case. It's no longer a bunch of studs versus a bunch of 5'7 white boys from Southern. All these kids are tremendous athletes and anyone can beat anyone.

Poor seeding with pac 10. Davidson or Harvard should have been ahead of Montana and Colorado state should have been 7 seed while UNLV and should have been in 8 9 game. lots of mess ups.

Easy to say after the games are complete.

Team wins : seed should have been lower
Team loses : seed should have been higher or not in tourney

Oregon a 12 was awful , they beat Arizona and beat UCLA twice.

Yet those two teams are both 6 seeds.

Just because Norfolk and Lehigh won last year doesnt mean its going to happen again. Dont understand what that would have to do with anything?

It's also because CBB is down. This one and done rule is killing the league. Th good players are leaving early. Also the game has gone sloppy. Watch these games, it seems like everything is 3 pt shooting or if you go inside you get fouled.

The only thing about CBB I like is that they actually play some what of a defense. This is the reason I can't stand NBA, and even the NFL is starting to go that way.

Defense starts in the NBA Playoffs. Regular season is garbage.

southern is a historically black school so it never was the case there

anyway some of these games are going to look mis-seeded because upsets are a nature of the beast this year but they really arent terrible

there are a few bad ones and oregon is probably the worst....should have been a 9 or a 10 at worst

parity this, parity that, upset this, upset that...

At the end of the day a #1-3 seed will win the tourney again.

The Southern marching band may take offense to being called a bunch of white boys.

OF COURSE, Why is a 3 seed only a 3 point favorite over a 14 seed? Why is an 11 seed favored by 3+ over a 6 seed? An 8 seed thats 5 better than a 9?

The committee is a JOKE and they rig this shit

The committee always seeds the teams so there would be potential upsets. That's why people watch the tourney. For the cinderellas. So they set it up perfectly this year.

I think they did a pretty bad job. Oregon, Pitt, & Cal were badly underseeded. Miami should have been a 1 seed over Gonzaga. Wisconsin was seeded too high, especially for having 11 losses. It's one thing if they were only a seed line off; it's another when they were 3-4 seed lines off.

The way they seeded the pac-12 really made me think they just drew the names out of a hat and blindly put them on seed lines. The 5th best team in the Pac-12 (Colorado) had a better seed than Cal & Oregon, the 2nd and 3rd bests teams in the Pac-12

are you kidding me? Thats bs, its the good ole boy network. They penetrate mid majors every year, the Pac 12, and anybody not in the Big 10, Big East, or ACC

anybody want to explain Pitt and Wichita as 8 and 9 seeds? They should have both been around 5 seeds at worst. They did that to try and penetrate Gonzaga

Cal/UNLV was the worst seeding matchup I've ever seen. This should have been an 8/9 matchup on neutral ground. Instead, the "5 seed" had to travel to the "12 seed" AGAIN this season?!?!

Both of these teams would've had a chance to do damage had they played new opponents instead of a rematch.

Oklahoma State? Having to play a top 20 team as a 5 seed kind of sucks. Pitt and Wichita? Being a top 30 team and having to play another 20 team doesn't sound very fair
