    Kentucky -5 @ Robert Morris

Kentucky 1 seed, NBA talent, on the road at Robert Morris. On paper this screams double digit win for the Cats, but question being can Kentucky get motivated for a NIT game?

I want to pound Kentucky, but maybe I should think twice.

What do you guys think about this game

i believe last time cal was in the nit, memphis won it all. that was like 10 or 11 years ago though, and he was in the process of getting memphis back on track. it was probably easier to motivate that team than kentucky where expectations are so sky high, but still, memphis was good that year and i think it was the dajuan wagner year and there was a lot of hype around that team but they narrowly missed the field of 64 and were no doubt disappointed to not be in the big dance. point being, he's been in a similar situation before and his team excelled, and i think he can get his guys up for this. it's an absolute embarrassment of a season otherwise. it almost already is, but this would be the worst fall for a team a year removed from a national championship ever if they lose to fukking robert morris in the first round of the nit. at least that i can recall offhand.

The numbers are not good for KY, but I think they will win just because they do not want to be further embarrassed and end their season by losing to a team no one has ever heard of that plays in a 3,000 seat stadium. You just know if KY loses in Calipari's home town tonight, the court will be stormed, Calipari will hopefully kill himself, and all the players will have to see the storming as the #1 play on Sportscenter top 10. If you are going to bet on them just take the juice, bro, and bet small on them. Also I don't think KY will win another game in the NIT after this. Here is my write-up:

    Kentucky:

    1. Avg points last 4 games: 57.75
    2. Avg points last 4 road games: 77.5
    3. Avg 4 home games: 58
    4. Avg last 2 meetiings: have not played
    5. Avg off rebounds 4: 11
    6. Avg rebounds 4: 34.75
    7. Avg turnovers 4: 11
    8. Avg FG % 4: 39.375
    9. Avg 3 FG% 4: 24.15
    10. Avg free throw % 4: 56.925
    11. Avg points allowed 4: 66.5

    Robert Morris:

    1. Avg points last 4 games: 73.25
    2. Avg points last 4 road games: 71.75
    3. Avg 4 home games: 75.25
    4. Avg last 2 meetiings: have not played
    5. Avg off rebounds 4: 9.75
    6. Avg rebounds 4: 27.75
    7. Avg turnovers 4: 8.75
    8. Avg FG % 4: 42.575
    9. Avg 3 FG% 4: 35.325
    10. Avg free throw % 4: 68.4
    11. Avg points allowed 4: 65.5

KY’s RPI was 57. Robert Morris was 124. KY leads 4 out of 11 categories.

I meant to say if you are going to bet on them just take the juice and bet on them moneyline and just bet small. Don't count on a college team, especially this shit KY team, to cover a spread. I got KY at -170.

Tex...Remember the game plan. First you win a point, then you lose a point. Keep the score at zero-zero. Pulverize him for the full three minutes. Then in sudden death you get the point, we win. I want him to experience pain. First he suffers.

Kentucky should make robert morris experience pain.

Everyone is expecting Kentucky to roll over and die. I'm not. They just simply have too much talent.

Kentucky is running through them, and winning this by 10+.

    Not buying into it

Yeah I'm on Kentucky as well, I just don't see Calapari not getting his team ready to play against Robert Morris. These kids have tons of talent and could very well be playing for a spot on the roster next year.

let's not forget that there are always Kentucky players looking to show what they got to the NBA scouts. Kentucky has burnt me a few times this year, and I keep saying I should have learned a lesson, but I think they will cruise through the "Not In The" Tournament. They may not win the whole thing, but there is money to be made on them in this tournament, and it starts tonight.

Calipari labeled the 2012-13 as a humbling experience. "Because it's probably the first group in a long time that wouldn't respond and change," in the local news.

Meanwhile in Pittsburgh, Robert Morris players, crowd are pumped and ready according to local news

Beware Kentucky could lay another egg here.

The line moved from -4.5 to -3.5 overnight. THIS IS A NEC team!! This conference is perennially a 16 seed in the tourney! How could UK not win by 10 pts here.

A good friend of mine son plays for UK and he told him the other day that he just wants the season to be over and don't even feel like playing in the NIT. I'm not joking that's exactly what he said and he is the starting center so I don't think they want to be there although they should win there is a reason the line went down a point!

I know Rupp was taken but it's pretty bizarre that they're playing at RM

Shocking start, t/o, not defending the perimeter, poor ball movement & no drive.

Nothing new, it happens every year with the NIT. The only difference is it's usually a team that felt "snubbed".

I hope they get slaughtered the rest of the way. Pathetic.

And Calipari is gonna collect a million dollar paycheck after this. Joke

No heart. And as good a job as Calipari may have done last year, this was one of the worst coaching jobs.
