Another Wichita win and assigning 60 will look like Guinness brilliant. Lehigh from last year.

Ive got 1710 pts and am in 254th right now. Have 61 on Arizona and 63 on Michigan so basically need them both in the Championship to have any shot at top 50. Have Duke at 64

I currently have 1884 points in 37th place, 10th place has 1888 points.

Indiana is my 64 game and I was in 41st place before the game went final. I have no idea how I only moved up 4 spots with such tight margins between teams....

I'm not accusing anything because I know the sample size is super small but do you know if they release the final 200 that gets paid at the end of this thing?

Yeah that's what I'm saying. So my 64 with even a 2 or 3 point advantage should have shot up anyone a bunch of spots... anyway do you know what they do with ties?

A lot of entries probably have Indiana with 64. So you will need to move up with your ariz or wich st picks. You will do well to stay in the top 50.

I don't have Witchita high , but I've got Oregon and Arizona +50 and Mich +60 , hoping for NC here vs Kansas.

I also ****** up and chose St Louis at 18 by accident instead of 48 , I'm trailing 30 points from that.

Anyway good luck to all and I appreciate Herritage Running this thing. I'd never go to another book

Your st Luis pick looks good if you only gave them 18. They are done. Most gave stlouis at least 55.

You still get points every round, so concentrate on the points you assigned wich st, ariz, fgcu, and lasalle. That's where the points are now separating the top spots.

I've always felt this was one of hardest contest to roar back and win because you realistically only make up points incrementally. Everybody left probably has louisville with at least 61 or more same for indiana and kansas florida and miami. Got to see what your wichita st, arizona, fgcu, and lasalle assignments get you.. I could use another wichita st win and arizona loss to make up a lot of ground.

Was up to 70th place before Sunday's games ended, but currently 106. Only 50+ points behind the leader. But that is a hard 50 points to make up in a contest like this.

not really cause if you look at the leaderboard most of them had gonzaga in the final 4 or they put a 62 and a 63 in the same region so you still have a shot of gaining ground not 1st place ground but top ten ground

You are only going to make up a fraction of those points. Remember everybody gets points on every game because everybody assigned a value to each team. So if I get 58 on Michigan state the average top player probably also assigned Michigan state a minimum 55, so that is only a three point gain over one game and only nine over three games. A hard way to come back with the rounds decreasing with each set of games.

huh? Only four teams can be 61+, and I can promise a large percentage of people have at least one team in the final four that is not named indiana, kansas, florida, miami, or louisville

a number had gonzaga in the final four, or georgetown, or an upset pick because they didn't want to pick a chalk final four

yeah and seaborneq if you gain 9 points on someone that will put you from being 50 to maybe 20 since if you look at the standings everyone is either tied or a point away from each other. like i said if your in the 100's its to late to take the top spot BUT you can still get top 10. I have duke and kansas as my final 2 i know a lot of people dont have that so i will probably gain 25 to 35 points over everyone if those 2 make it causing me to go from 110 to lets say 25

The majority of entrants assigned 60+ to those five teams. Iu, ku, uf, miami, and louisville. Very few assigned 60's + to anybody else. Gonzaga, osu, duke, and michigan would probably be the 60'soutliers. The winner is going to kill it with wichita st, arizona, lasalle, and michigan state assignments.

This is not even close to being accurate, especially since anyone who knows how to play has the top four being their final four, and your post ignores one of the regions. Almost every single entry has a 60+ that you didn't name, and many have 2 or more 60+s that you didn't name.

ESPN has percentages of what teams were the most popular picks for the final four, btw.

How the current top 10 assigned 64-60 points. Is it more variation than you thought? Looks about how I figured it, most have the same with very few outliers. Gonzaga and Duke are the main odd balls.

    1. LU 64, IU63, UF62, KU 61, Duke60
    2. Miami 64, LU63, KU62, NMU61, UF60
    3. IU 64, KU 63, LU 62, GU 61, Duke 60
    4. IU 64, LU 63, Miami 62, OSU 61, Duke 60
    5. GU 64, LU 63, KU 62, IU 61, Miami 60

    10. UF 64, IU 63, Iowa St 62, Wisky 61, Marq 60

These are the top 10 and how the assigned 64-60

Me. IU 64, LU 63, OSU 62, KU 61, UF 60. I still like my 5, especially UF and OSU if they get past Arizona. I might be in business. No one in the current top 10 has my top 5.

Tell me how many of the top 10 assigned 60+ to those 5 you said. I count exactly zero. Everyone has some differences, and some of them have 3+ differences.
