    Wisconsin -3.5 Sunday

    Badgers in a double-revenge spot, having lost to the Buckeyes in Columbus earlier this season (by 9) and on their home court to them a year ago. More disciplined team and the better coach on their home court, but Wisky's played three straight OT games, which worries me a little.

    I'm still leaning toward a big play on the Badgers here, and I like Iowa (PK) over Minnesota as well.

    You can put the stats away, especially in the Big Ten this year.

    Whisky is coming off 3 consecutive OT games, they are drained...Ohio State can't be trusted as they barely beat NW (with 2 of their players out!) and have proven to be anything but consistent.

    The Badgers are capable of going 10 minutes without scoring a point at any moment during the game - see last game vs OHst and last week vs Minny.

    With the lock down D and awkward play by the Badgers, the safer play and maybe the obvious (square) move is the under.

    Under Whisky total 120

    This grinder will be hard pressed to top the century mark....

    Lean towards Speedy's thoughts on this one Wiscy wins just afraid they dont quite cover. Buckeyes don't really have an impressive road win vs a quality opponent all year. The 4 tough road games they have played (Duke, Illin, Mich, Mich st.) they are 0-4 s/u and 2-2 a.t.s. GL Coin

    I lean Badgers' way as well for a win and cover of anything under a bucket, reason why Wiscy don't really blow teams out is they actually have poor talent level but they have a good coach that demands 110% effort every game otherwise they will be dropped. Consequently they play games close to number frequently. I would say them and Izzo's Spartans provide the best opportunity for hitting middle play.

    Played Iowa last night @ pk, this is revenge spot for Iowa, they actually shot quite poorly in the first match, Minny's problem in defending 3s is Iowa's offensive strength and Minny also turn the ball over. Iowa is fast tempo team while Minny is a slow/mid tempo team, this very important when study the line. In the first match total line was 138 but only 121 pts was scored but odds-maker have set another reasonably high line of 133 considering the actual score in the first match. Meaning tempo wise, they expect Iowa to get way rather Minny then factor in Minny's t/o problem in that tempo should lead to cheap transition baskets for Iowa, excluding their brilliance from downtown.

    Fukk it I'm on Wiscy as well I like taking the loser of the 1st matchup in a div or conf rival game and the line has Wiscy written all over it. They will d up and hit their 3's as usual and hopefully win and cover at the end with ft's if nothing else 57-51. GL

    I am huge Badgers fan and I think this is a bad spot for them. Ohio State plays a similar, low tempo ball control game, and Craft will be effective at defending the perimeter from easy 3's. I agree with most that this is likely to go under the total but Vegas isn't stupid, I can actually see a scenario where this game goes over, especially in the 2nd half and especially if Ohio State is winning. To me the spread is pretty much bang on and so is the total. What I decided to do today was take Ohio State as part of a teaser at +9. Great value IMHO.

    Craft will guard Jackson. He can't do anything to stop the UW bigs from shooting the 3. Frankly, Craft should probably guard Brust, UW biggest scoring threat along with Dekker off the bench. 4 is a tough number to lay with a team that struggles finishing teams off and isn't a very good FT shooting team either.

    Right on - I too am a Badger fan, but unlike past UW teams this one can't close well because they only shoot 62% from the line. Hopefully playing in Madison will help but I'm staying away.

    They are not good from the line but I also think they rebound well from a 30% shooting from the field performance at Minny as well.
