    2/2/12 miami (fl) @ nc state guess the spread

    Ive got this game on my radar set for a big play. Think its a great spot for nc state. Hoping it is not more then nc state -3.

    Lorenzo Brown is worth 8 points, and Miami is about 25 spots higher in Pomeroy. NC State uses 6 guys now they only have 5 probably that is a big problem.

    Nc state will def be favored by a couple here. Off top of my head i dont believe they have lost at home yet. Line may be shaded lower by expected public play on miami fl. Last sat nc st was -4 vs unc. Dont know if i see bookmakers going higher then that here vs red hot miami team.

    NC State should win and cover if at full strength. But dont take them without Brown trust me I watched 18/21 NC State games this year Brown is the MVP by far, and without him they only have 7 scholarship players 2 of which are garbage. I am thinking Brown wont play right now because if he did not go back in the game ankles usually are worse the next few days. A lot of times guys go back in the game and then miss the next one.

    Brown got downgraded to doubtful I am going to say Miami -1.5, and yes NC State is 12-0 at home

    No way under any scenario miami is favored in this game... Does anyone know they beat duke at home and havent lost yet there? Line 6 to 7.5 pts.....

    With state's point guard probably not playing tomorrow, this game is a pickem at best. Lorenzo
    Brown is the real leader of state and averages 12.7 points and 6.9 assist a game. Would not be smart
    to play him and risk further injury. Tyler Lewis is a big downgrade from Brown. First, Lewis is a short, white,
    Freshman that can't shoot the 3. One thing Miami has is experienced guards. Larkin will give the kid fits. I give
    the edge to Miami. Miami did struggle on the road at Boston College and on the road at Va. Tech, the game was close
    for 2/3 of the game. Just my opinion.
