I'm loving the underdogs in nearly every game tonight in NCAA.
My lock of the night is Boston College +9 @ MD. BC can pass and utilize half court sets real well, where everytime I watch Maryland this year, they are just chucking JR Smith jumpers from everywhere on the court. I know the records are very different, but BC keeps every game within reach. Even NC State had trouble putting them away.
I also really like Michigan St +5.5 @ Wisconsin. Both teams play excellent defense, so I expect a low scoring game, with plenty of bricks from 3pt range, and both teams sinking 16-20 FTs for 33% of their total points. shouldn't be more than a 2-3 possession game for either team unless one team is down 5-6 with 75secs left and starts fouling early.
I also like Iowa and Providence to cover as dogs in their conference battles. Not sold on Pitt or OSU. Big East games are always nailbiters and +6 at home is excellent value versus the least talented Pitt team in the last 7-8 years. Iowa getting 11 points is also a reach here.
I hope to come back later and brag on a 4-0 slate
