This play is definitely worth a shot tonight. I got this play at 137.5 earlier, and the only reason this isn't a 2x play for me is because I missed the opener @ 139.
Louisville's 3rd true road game as Rick Pitino takes his squad to north jersey (I should be at this game, BTW!) and face his former assistant Kevin Willard and his Seton Hall Pirates. Chane Behanan is out of this match-up while suffering a injury that should keep him out about 10 days. He was just getting going, the kid has turned on the switch and has been absolutely nothing short of a stud. His FG % is skyrocketing and giving the Cards the perfect balance they need w/ the already talented Back-court (Siva & Smith). I believe this loss will show in this game tonight. Also, worth pointing out is Gorgui Dieng does not have his defensive timing back yet, so he's not the outstanding shot blocker he will be after a few more games.
Obviously these coaches both know each others' schemes well and both play a lot of match-up zone. I expect the Pirates to be very competitive in this big east conference battle on ESPN2. They just need to take care of the basketball and not let Louisville get a ton of easy baskets off steals (much easier said than done, as the Cardinal Defense turns their opponents over, more than 30% of their possessions!
There are some trends that support the play as well
The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Louisville's last 9 games on the road
The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Seton Hall's last 5 games when playing Louisville
The line opened at 139 as previously stated and I rarely make 2x plays (pitt last night, 5 so far on the season) but I won't make a 2x play when I already missed the best number most of the time.
So this is just a 1 unit play for me tonight, but I'd list it as my most confident play tonight.
