Over the years, the x factor of handicapping the Final 4 Champion is that it is nearly impossible to identify the one or two players who will understand that this is going to be the moment that defines their life and then eclipse that challenge. It is what makes this tournament great, this doesn't happen in pro sports, and it doesn't happen in college football (because there is no tourney, the size of the teams, the great college football players always go on to the NFL, ...). This factor plays into the 'one and dones' phenoms of the past few years because of the NBA rule change.
