    zoo...glad to see you are still on board with baylor like i am....heres what i wrote about them in another thread

    "they have so much talent...if pierre jackson(might be my fave guy in college hoops right now) gets hot and knocks down jumpers they are going to be tough....q miller is a player...they have acy, franklin, walton, and bello(anthony jones too i guess to a degree)......some guys who can really play key roles...heslip can be a nice x factor too...but there are certain teams/matchups where having him on the floor is a detriment...

    but jones just disturbs me for all the talents he has...reminds me of a brandan wright...who is just nothing in the nba....guy is constantly floating too far away from the basket....doesnt have a mean streak...doesnt really protect the rim on defense(i understand this team depends on him for alot and he needs to preserve his fouls)....overall i just think the guy is a letdown...especially in big spots...even in games where he plays well and has a nice boxscore he seems to be lacking...just dont see him giving the team that lift...they dont really feed off of his energy the way they do with p jackson"


    like the way memphis is playing right now too....will barton is the best player on the floor most of the time.....that lack of rebounding scares me though

    I just read that post about Baylor ironically. to be honest i totally agree with you about PJ3 BUT before the Mizzou game in Big12 tourney he really came out of his shell and was showing a killer instinct, attacking the glass and not playing soft.

    guys like that normally explode in the tourney. you have to remember this is still a young kid and I remember Bob Knight saying that at any Baylor home game or big game there was anywhere from 20-30 NBA scouts in the crowd. thats a TON of pressure on young kid like that. I personally think he'll explode now in the tourney after how aggressive he was in the b12 tourney.

    Good for you kzoo, I like it! Remind these guys that last years F4 consisted of a 3,5,8,11 or some such. I'm starting to reconsider Memphis all day Preseason some polls had them top 10 and maybe they wake up getting out of ConfUSA competion. Ky may take them too lightly, get challenged and then tighten up.

    Vndy has as much a chance for F4 as does Syr and OhSt. Grade A starting 5, they stay out of foul trouble they can bring down any one!

    I like memphis but its so tough to pick the 8/9 to advance far when their first game is almost always a toss up and your 2nd game is always against a 1 seed

    Id much rather be a 10 or 11

    i dont think this is as wide open as last year. the top teams have pretty much separated themselves IMO. early on, i thought this was very wide open, over the past few weeks, ive changed my mind.
