    ignorant big 10 hater.

Think the Big 10 could go 20-2 against the ACC in a particular season and certain fans would still say the Big 10 is weak and the ACC teams are powerhouses.

What a horrible year to try a futures. A Duke team that can't hit free throws??? Kentucky can lose one game all season but cant win one of the biggest ones of the year? Syracuse? UNC looked awful without Henson and will he be 100 percent?

8 of the last 12 ncaa champions have won their conference tourney. Uconn last year and in 2004. Duke in 2010 and 2001. Kansas in 2008. Florida in 2006 and 2007. Its just like the Giants entering the nfl playoffs hot, Tom Izzo and a red-hot team entering the tourney is alot more impressive to me than any team out there right now.

Some stats I have been looking at from espn. Number 1 seeds are 108 -0 against number 16 seeds, only 11 have won that first game by less than double digits Only twice in the last 27 years has a number one seed failed to reach a final four. For people looking at Kentucky, since 1979, only 13 of the 33 ncaa tourneys have been won by a team that was ranked number one during the season.

I am looking at these conference tourneys and looking at teams playing good ball right now. Michigan State was disappointing at home in that last home game against Ohio state but I love having a guy like Izzo at the helm and they look sharp heading into this.

Overall , seems like an impossible futures wager this year. Kentucky looked really poor under pressure in this tourney, they could have lost to Florida . I love looking at these teams like Missouri and Michigan state playing great ball and winning their conference tourneys heading into this. Missouri just doesnt have good numbers away from home. Those road records have to be really looked at.

the big 10 is trash. ohio state, michigan state, and wisconsin could barely handle illinois and northwestern i don't see any of them cutting down the nets this year

Of course they can Butler won 10 games the last 2 years, and they beat teams that were better than Duke and Uconn in doing so, if the refs do not miss a loose ball foul on Zoubek, or Hayward shoots the ball 1 inch more to left they would of won the title in 2010.

If VCU can blow Kansas out of the water of course they could of won the title last year. It is all just math even if it is unlikely about 60 different teams can win.

Actually the math says otherwise. How many tourneys would need to be played for it to happen?

VCU and Butler caught every break possible last year. The two losers even got to play each other so one had to make the final so it could get pounded by a 9th place team in its conference.

I'm all for underdogs and upsets but it has never happened so I'll believe when I see it.

    Memphis collapsed in 2008
Butler up 6 in 2nd half in 2011
Butler gets a missed foul call and misses a buzzer beater in 2010

almost happened 3 of the last 4 years with a mid major

LOL, Missouri could barely handle Illinois too, Illinois choked a lead in the last minute even though the game was in St. Louis.

Guess they have no chance to cut the nets down either?

5dimes had a line of around +1000 for all none-power conference teams before tourney started.

Only 3 teams left after only two rounds.

    Ohio
    N.C. State
    Xavier

They'll all be out next round.

Don't let people fool you into thinking the field is "open" and wasting final four picks on trendy underdogs.

I think the only people that slept on OSU were the ones that thought that FSU or Vandy were the greatest picks ever, sooooo stupid both already out of the tourney, I hope I get to see my Cuse team play OSU. I think that we would have a really rough time with Sullinger without Melo, but oh well, Melo is history and if you want to be the best you have to beat the best and OSU is looking really good right now.

Having seen the games in Pittsburgh over the weekend, I'd be shocked if Syracuse beat Ohio State (provided both win on Thursday to get to the Regional final). Syracuse is one of the worst rebounding teams in the country and Ohio State's inside game is really good . . . and that's coming from a person who hates everything scarlet and gray.

Did all of the idiots get together to post for one thread?

Yes, big ten is very weak with all those teams in the final 16, and purdue nearly knocking off kansas.

The teams from ohio all suck too!
