games today showing how much PARITY there is in NCAA HOOPS

#1 seed kentucky loses to unranked vandy
#4 north carolina loses to #17 fsu

keep this in mind when filling out your brackets, no real dominant teams this year even though people thought kentucky/syracuse were

Did either game really surprise you MM? FS been there done that NC/Duke. Vandy exact kind of team who can upset Ken. Decent inside presence and can stroke the 3. Think Fla.

Thats the price of the NBA draft. NCAA hoops is all about program name and coach recognition. You cant get a national following for a player because they dont stay. High profile teams have to reload every year. The chemistry is not their like it is for the mid majors.

The NCAA tourney greatly benefits from this in the early round as the anyone can win attitude is prevalent.

The final four might have some crap games if you judge the games by traditional program power and name recognition.

This is clearly evident when teams like George Mason, Butler and VCU reach the Final Four. You would not see this type parity if dudes like Wall, Rose and Durant stayed in school and played 3-4 years.
