    How sad is it for Iowa fans that Iowa at their absolute best can't even contend with Illinois at their absolute worst?

    I severely underestimated how bad Iowa truly is. This is the worst team Illinois has played since Coppin State.

    Iowa might just be the worst program in college basketball history.

    Just an atrocious basketball team that should honestly close their program. Even on a scorching tear for them they can't beat Illinois who everyone beats.

    Honestly, with the effort Illinois game out with, they could have been down 15-0 early. They were terrible from the start but Iowa was just as bad.

    As for the bet, eh, Illinois hasn't had a double digit lead in 2 months. Iowa is just 10 times worse than I thought imaginable.

    I think Iowa's won once in Champaign since like 1990 or some incredible stretch like that. They were routed in East Lansing, where they never win. They were routed in Columbus, where they never win. This Iowa team is making strides, but they're still not consistent -- especially on the defensive end. Getting blown out at home by Campbell will tip you off to these things.
