Louisville is asked to cover, at home today, the same amount of points they covered when they played @ The Panthers earlier this year. Louisville is having a typical season, much like the one they had last year. Pitt is having it's worst season in 20 years. I don't know if an argument can be made that The Cards don't really need this game. In my opinion they certainly do. Cards have beat pretty well every team in the EAST that the Panthers have lost to.
Is the 9 points too many to cover this time.
Are there Card players that are going to be benched or not played for some reason I am unaware of?
I guess, what I am asking is "How can I NOT dump 1/2 my roll on (arguably) the 2nd worst team in the Big East to lose today?"

  • Panthers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss.
  • Panthers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games.
  • Panthers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
  • Panthers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
  • Panthers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. Big East.

I suppose when you look at these stats you might say "There is nowhere to go but up" but, is that really a good reason to bet on a team?

I think stats like these are more conducive to betting on a team:

  • Cardinals are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall.
  • Cardinals are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. Big East.
  • Cardinals are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
  • Cardinals are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss.

Good Luck with this game today.
