    Question not just for you but in general: when people say "pound MSU -- Purdue has two starters out!" do you not think that is already factored into the line? We're not exactly talking about inside info here. In other words, where do you think the line would be if Byrd and Barlow were playing?

    Good question. If you look at how Vegas was lining common opponents recently, it would have been lined around Michigan St -2 to -2.5. That means that they are saying Barlow and Byrd are only worth a couple points, which is strange. Granted they are starters, but they aren't the most efficient players on the team(Barlow 4th & Byrd 6th). You are looking at 16ppg of scoring. We have seen this season already that getting rid of bad seeds can be as good for a team as bad.

    Betting on or against Purdue here is kind of like betting on the first game of the year. You really don't know what is going to happen with Purdue's lineup change. Purdue wasn't that deep of a team so we're going to be seeing some minutes from WHO ARE THESE GUYS guys.
