    Just like they did against Western Michigan to make sure they only won by 6 when the spread was Iona-7. I tried warning others on the board that they point shave but they still take them. That was one of the more fixed endings i've seen recently.

    Yea the guy was hopping as he was dribbling the ball and went out of bounds. The NCAA should at least give a look at it, it was rather fishy. That said I took Nevada +7.5 so that cashed my ticket

    there are ten-plus NBA scouts in the stands. that wasn't point-shaving, it was just dumb behavior by a kid showing off and not finishing the game. also, i lucky cover for me.

    it's a high-profile game with lots of people watching. if there were a fix, guy could lose any shot he has at NBA, like the kid from Arizona State in the 90s (and if guys are fixing games, there are rumors about it). a much more likely explanation (than point-shaving) is that the game was won and he was showing off and did something silly and lost the ball, in part because of the high profile of the game and the scouts in the stands. that's not the optimal way to shave points anyway. the way to do it is to let a guy score on you or commit dumb fouls to give extra FTs. just because something happens late that affects the spread or total doesn't mean that the fix was in.
