OK.......over the past two weeks I'm up a little bit, which is great. The problem, I've made 112 wagers in that time period, with NCAAB, NBA, NCAAF, NFL, Tennis and Soccer. Not just that, I've been betting 1st and 2nd half's, totals and sides. I've been engulfed the past few weeks, and it's time to take a step back, and really put some effort into picking NCAAB sides. Besides, pretty unhealthy life style checking the lines to get such a high volume of wagers in.
Also to note, I will only be wagering on 5 Conferences (ACC, Big 10, Big East, Pac 10 and Ivy League).
Over the past years, I really struggle with a few of the other conferences, so let's filter them out all together.
I'm hoping the approach of tracking my plays on this thread will keep me from firing 21 plays on a Saturday. Obviously, it depends on where I see value, but I would expect 10-20 plays a week. I will be using the same unit size for each wager.
I will not be providing writeups because you guys all have access to the same statistics and information that I do. Many of these plays will be feel and spot plays.
1/9/12 - PLAY #1 - BIG EAST - Connecticut Huskies (-5.5) vs West Virginia Mountaineers Risking 1.03 Units to Win 1.00 Unit
i want to give you a ata boy......this is the best thought ive seen written on this site...its kinda like the heart felt paper that jerry mcguire wrote...im with you on this...its the greed we have thats make us do that....im going to go for a realistic win for the week ...if it take one solid play a day thats it...its the losses we hate ..we make are first play of the day ..we lose we chase...lets do this...and be healthy.....
Whhhewwwwwww.....I'll take it. I've been on the wrong side of these type of finishes so many times, so it's nice to be on the right side tonight. Always nice getting off to a 1-0 start. I'll be back tomorrow hopefully with a play or two!
BOL, Regul8er. on the Hokies -4 myself. i think that VT's guard play advantage and HCA will more than offset FSU's size advantage. FSU really struggles to handle the ball and i think that VT can exploit that. FSU has also been straight shit away from home all season.
Tough night to swallow. I didn't quite believe in Seton Hall yet.....definately should have. Though V-Tech has the tools to revenge a brutal loss at Wake.....apparently they don't. Oh well, at least I stayed and track and didnt chase.
Those in here who know my history won't be surprised that I had Maryland at -6.5 and they win by 6. Not only that, they held a 20 point lead and missed a free throw with 3 seconds left. How do you guys not go off the deep end in these situations and chase?? I should be up 2 units, instead I'm down units on the night. I'm trying to be patient, but man oh man
