    UCLA should have to swim back to California...

    ...If they do not cover vs Chaminade.

    Did I bet them? No, but sure would be great if they showed a sign of life so I can bet them 2ndH.

    Chaminade historically been tough in this tourney vs good teams. We'll see if they continue to stay tight.

    the bruins are always overhyped to start the year, they are already 0-2 and could lose this straight up ....

    Every year Chaminade surprises at home against Division I teams. Look at their history. They almost pulled off a huge upset last year.

    Did not UCLA go to 3 consecutive Final Fours? So to say Howland is doing a bad job coaching is pusing it. But recruiting has definatly taken a dip.

    In 1982, Chaminade, then a member of the NAIA, defeated Virginia in what is considered the biggest upset in college basketball history. Virginia, which featured Ralph Sampson and Rick Carlisle, was the top-ranked team in NCAA Division I basketball entering the game after posting victories against Georgetown (with Patrick Ewing) and Phi Slama Jama of Houston. But in the Blaisdell Arena, the 3,500 fans in attendance — most of whom had come to see the nation's #1 team — witnessed the historic 77–72 upset. Many newspapers reportedly checked sources several times to make sure the story was right — that 800-student NAIA Chaminade had actually defeated the NCAA's top-ranked Virginia.

    =====

    Last year they nearly beat Michigan State and did beat Oklahoma.

    If your team is worth a shit, then you should kick Chaminades ass without any hesistation. It should be swift, and smooth.

    Nice job UCLA, and throw away your scuba gear. But you can get the buses ready, since whatever team you lay next will wipe the floor with you.

    Chaminade has played with a lot of good teams over the years. Good home court.

    And MSU was horrific last year.

    The only game where Chaminade should be semi-competitive is the last place game. Whoever is playing them is disinterested, and ready to go home. I saw Vandy blow out Chaminade, last year, with minimal effort in the last place game.

    Ben Howland should be unemployed by year's end. Probably should have been unemployed sometime in the last two years.
