Duke was overrated, and I do like Belmont in general. They have a great coach that always has Belmont prepared. But Memphis is a far more athletic team compared to Duke. Plus, Memphis is returning all 5 starters. Don't see how Belmont keeps this one close.

Any other thoughts on this game?

I'm certainly no expert on college baskets-football is my specialty-but I lean more towards Belmont for this one. I agree that duke is usually overrated, but there's something about this Belmont team that makes me a believer. I could easily see them upsetting Memphis here. Just my opinion though. Definitely listen to what everyone has to say-there ate many good cappers on this forum. Hell I may find some info that'll make me bet on Memphis.

I don't like either side here. Two good teams with a lot to prove facing off early in the season. The line is sharp.

The only thing that scares me about taking Belmont is that they were down 16 to Duke. So they have some gaps there that Memphis will probably exploit.

Ranking in Week 1 means very little. They're only marginally more informed than the preseason predictions at the moment.

I'm getting Belmont +5 at bodog....can't pass up a good line. Memphis was highly ranked last season and had the same problem they typically do - lack of discipline and poor coaching. I expect Memphis to start off slow again this year.

Tempted to make a small play on the Belmont ML at +165 as well.

I was an idiot for taking Rider because they almost pulled a major upset, not going to make the same mistake with Memphis.

Actually a lot of them have, just gotta throw out meaningless line swings.

Big moves on Penn and Detroit, Umass, yesterday. All covered. Penn almost won SU.

Bunch of others but it is really hard to tell which line move is real with this many games.
