John Morrison 2012-13 NBA Thread -
Sportsbook Review Forum
Has someone tested the teams with over .500 win percentage only with -110 chase in the jm system? Would be interested. Of the 4 lost teams have ever lost since season 2008-09 in jm v1 only one team Utah Jazz with a win percentage of .675 has lost. Of this season with -110 chase I can tell you not yet lost, 23-0 serie. The two losses of the v1 (with 3p buying) are both from teams under .500 win percentage.
Maybe stevex wants check the stats of the last seasons.

I believe that english is not your best language, so I'll try to be accommodating.
Am I right in thinking that you are suggesting a new JM version (A-C bets) without buying points, but only chasing teams with win percentage .500 or better?
If so, I think your concept is worth looking at, However....
Back-testing systems in which a team's stats (at the time of selection) are used as a filter cannot be done. Anyone can find the historical results of a team online, but I don't think it is possible to find the team's associated stats at that moment in time. So, I am sure no-one here has the stats that you want.
The best anyone (you, that is) can do is to design a potential system and then collect the data over the years that follow. Good luck...
In the meantime, please be polite. It costs nothing.

i can sort out the stats, cause there're sites to look in the -110 odds of last years and the win percentage you can follow on espn team schedule at the related game. so it's easy only take some time. i more have asked the users with statistic ability not you brainless kid looking to explain others. if you want explain something, then explain ghislaine how to download the jm schedule!

Then stop asking everybody to do shit and do it for yourself, and if you are going to type in English, then learn how to speak it first. You really sound like a babbling idiot every time you type. You've been here a couple of weeks, and in that short time you have asked for at least 9 favors, and have insulted several people in this thread, not to mention, posting completely inaccurate data about v1 while hanging off of John Morrison's Vietnamese rooster. Now you are being a complete douche to Kevin who is probably the most polite person on here, what exactly is your purpose at SBR anyway?

Not impossible to track, but I doubt anyone wants to spend those type of hours trying to backtest that. Back testing the closing lines in general is very time consuming. Any time you apply a filter just takes a shit load of extra time. No one is this thread back test anything for anyone. NO spoon feeding here. Gotta do this kind of stuff yourself. ALmost end of the season, so i look forward to YOUR results next season. Take your time over the summer with it. GOod luck

sure its able to track. the history odds you can find on f.e. http://nowgoal.com/. the .500 rate is always quoted behind the last game on espn each team schedule. can you follow me? if nobody has stats of the .500 teams with -110 betline, i will do it myself. have it already of this season till march 13th, serie is 23-0 in v1. thanks for your advice, i will come back with the stats after finishing.
Aaahhh what happening with bulls. Down 40 point against sacramento

Wallco NBA Chase 110 2012-13 System to date: 68-3 (fin. series) System profit/loss: -12.75 units (fin. series) Current open series: 0
(3/13/13): #71Atlanta (M/L)(A) - Win
v1 Plays (A) 40-31
(B) 16-15 (C) 8-7 (D) 4-3 Losses:HOU (-35.91 u), ORL (-26.39 u), CHA (-18.46)
There are no system plays for (3/14/13):
We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day, if the lines change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post. System rules and backtest can be found in post #219.

Yeah got it. Just been having some health issues and have been focusing on that. Sorry for the delay. These figures are through the end of Feb. and are taken from the closing lines at vegasinsider. I did not move to a v1 if a v2 lost on some of those series. That may be where these totals don't jive with stevex's. I was trying like everybody else to find a way to use this system without the high risk involved with (C) bet losses and buying points. The 3 point buy has been pretty significant this season.
V1 (A) 23-13
(B) 6-7
(C) 3-4
V2 (A) 15-12
(B) 5-7
(C) 4-3
V3 (A) 32-26
(B) 16-10
(C) 4-6
If you add all of the (A) bets together they total 70-51 with a 57.8% win rate. That's not too shabby. The beginning of March may change that figure a little but its not bad. Once again these are without buying 3 points.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up on today's NYK (C) bet. Here is Morrison's email. Now keep in mind that both Chandler and Anthony (best player) are injured and Anthony is doubtful for tonight.
James,
It is time for us to cash in! I have no doubt that we're going
to close out the series today! Today's system bet(s) are:
New York [C] bet
Remember to purchase 3 points for the team you're betting on.
Bet this as you will but Morrison will most surely disqualify it if it loses and Carmelo doesn't play.

He's listed as doubtful, meaning he could actually play tonight but probably won't. The Knicks actually play better as a team when he's not on the floor. The one that worries me is Chandler. If he doesn't play they have a slim chance.
