No...scoring is so frequent in the nba never know the margin of the score. There might be some kind of watered down number because of fouling at the end of close games. But nothing like the nfl 3 and the 7.

    7

Its a big deal in the final 20 seconds.

    3 possession game

under 7 and teams will still fight

over 7 and teams seem to surrender

The only key #'s for me is how much I'm gonna bet per game and what the line and juice is

Hope you told that guy off on skype

    Not really.

1, of course is the opposite of a key number.

That really doesn't have anything to do with the line someone is betting on before gametime.

As far as key numbers, it makes no difference.

    It does for me.

I tend to shy away from faves in the 7-9 point range.

Not as KEY as numbers in the NFL, but the NBA does have more frequented numbers than others.

SEVEN, which I've stated for years and years.

    and 6-8

As some others have mentioned 7 is consistently the most common MOV. Over the last 5 seasons 6.7% of matchups have ended up at that number.

7 was always thought to be a key # since the thinking was that teams stopped fouling down 3 possiesions. i have seen that not be the case in many games, so i say NO to there being key #'s in the nba...

The key numbers are 1 possessions & 2 possessions as game margins down the stretch.

Am I reading the calculator wrong? For NBA, it seems to say '9' has the highest pushing frequency.
