    Heat ML

Going up quite a bit at The Greek. From -235 to -260 in the last 10 minutes.

    Just an FYI.

Square money doesn't move the ML 25 cents right before tip.

Just thinking, Miami will have a 3-0 ATS on Orlando tonight, San Antonio tomorrow night and Chicago on Sunday. Chicago might win in Orlando tomorrow night but will definitely lose to Miami the next.

any big play I will make i'll attempt to post it on the forum. i have won all big plays this year over $500 which have been about 5 of them (not counting the $1000 dollar SB play). I don't bet based on what team I like, in that case I would be betting the pistons every day. I do not even have money on the Heat tonight. I have been doing this way longer than you Wizzle, thats pretty obvious. if i respond here again i might be disciplined so i'll stay away.

    thanks.

this is just not the case. let me explain why.
the offshore books are responding to the Vegas lines.

Vegas will move the line or ML late often because that's when the
moneyflow in is the largest. This includes thousands of "squares" and sharps
all together.. and includes MILLIONS of dollars in black market mafia-run
call-ins.. the mob books are just calling in the bet (say, Miami) to offset their
own overexposure based on the number of their clientele who bet Miami.

Dexter, it's too bad that more SBR posters just don't know about this.
I know. I used to hang around with bookmakers who would call "up"
and then at the next level the overweight margin gets called in to Vegas.
Standard operating procedure for generations, will not change until
sports wagering becomes legal outside Vegas in the US - which we don't
    want happening anyway.

So the late ML movement in Miami's favor should've been ignored? Sounds like you're just confirming my thought that big money was on the Heat. Maybe I'm confused.

a bookie here in brooklyn used to rent the basement apartment (we didnt know he was a bookie) at my families house back 15 years ago. i used to go down there and take his tapes of the plays being booked. i used to listen to him all the time drop heavy action before games tipped off to even out the action he took that was one sided.....

yes, the $ was on the Heat.. the only thing is you seemed to think it
was sharp late money, or that it meant info. it was just public street money.

they have to, just like vegas they rely on the vig for profit and
don't like to be on the hook for huge payouts if one side wins.
they are in the book making business not the bet making business.
