    Anthony's NBA Picks

Decided to open up my thread and start tracking my plays here on SBR for the remainder of the season. After taking a brutal beating yesterday on Miami and Lakers my 2010-2011 season record before posting plays here on SBR is 85-75-3 (53%) +2.7 Units. I will be starting a new documented record here on this thread. This may be good fade material for you guys.

Best of luck to all of you

    Heat -4.5 -110 4U

I'm rolling with the Heat to cover on the road in Indiana. Indiana is 0-5 straight up, and 2-3 ATS at home when being a 4-5 point home dog against the elite. They faced the Magic twice at home losing by 4 and 15, Lakers beat them by 15, Celtics beat them by 12, and the Spurs beat them by 3. Out of these 5 games, the Magic and the Spurs failed to cover. These two teams recently met at Miami where the heat were a 10 point favorite. The Heat beat the Pacers 117-112 and failed to cover. Lebron James had a huge game going 15-23 with 41 points. I expect both James and Wage to have a big game here after the close game against the Celtics. Roy Hibbert, who averages 12.8 points per game put up 20 points on the heat. Tyler Hansbrough who averages 7.9 point per game went for 18 last time they met. The Heat who average to hold teams to 93.9 points per game, allowed 51% shooting and 112 points. I believe this game the Heat will make defensive adjustments to shutdown the Pacers offense. Heat being a 4.5 point road favorite is equivalent to a 9-10 point favorite at home. Heat are an excellent road team. They are 15-3 SU and 13-5 ATS when being a -4 or higher road favorite. I don't see this game being close at all. The Heat will finish off this road trip 4-1 before the break. Best of luck everyone.

I don't really like playing parlays and teasers. It's hard enough to choose 1 winning game.

i dont like teams to cover big lines...so i usually play the teams i like ML in a parlay, i went Miami, chicago ,memphis and GSW in a 4 leg ML parlay! i would of won alot more if i played them to cover the spread but didnt wanna risk it.
Im from Australia so our odd's r different..the 4 leg parlay came to odds of $5.04, with the lines would of been $13.50.

It's harder to hit but im risking less money..$20 on a 4 leg parlay and im winning over $100 usually, to play 1 game im risking $100 to win $92 but depends on the person i guess, every1 has their own betting systems!!

    NBA 02/20/2011 EAST -1 -110 2U

    East Roster

    *Lebron James (Miami)
    *Amar'e Stoudemire (New York)
    *Dwayne Wade (Miami)
    *Derrick Rose (Chicago)
    *Dwight Howard (Orlando)
    Ray Allen (Boston)
    Chris Bosh (Miami)
    Kevin Garnett (Boston)
    Al Horford (Atlanta)
    Joe Johnson (Atlanta)
    Paul Pierce (Boston)
    Rajon Rondo (Boston)

    Coach: Doc Rivers (Boston)

    West Roster:

    *Tim Duncan (San Antonio)
    *Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City)
    *Carmelo Anthony (Denver)
    *Kobe Bryant (L.A. Lakers)
    *Chris Paul (New Orleans)
    Manu Ginobili (San Antonio)
    Pau Gasol (L.A. Lakers)
    Blake Griffin (L.A. Clippers)
    Kevin Love (Minnesota)
    Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas)
    Russel Westbrook (Oklahoma City)
    Deron Williams (Utah)

    Coach: Gregg Popovich (San Antonio)

I like the East here. The east team already has some chemistry with Pierce, Rondo, Allen, and KG. The east roster also includes Miami's big three. Also, Derrick Rose has been killing it lately and I can see him putting on a show. I don't see Dwight Howard being shutdown in this game and should put up points easily.

GL everyone, I cant wait for the 2nd half of the season.

I'm gonna go with the east, I think their lineup up front too athletic for the west bigs.

    NBA 02/22/2011 GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS +5 -110 2U

Celtics are 6-5 ATS when being a road favorite by 5 points or more. This year, Celtics have been a road favorite in Toronto (-5), Washington (-6), and Sacramento (-6). Celtics went 1-2 ATS on these three games. The Warriors are a better team than the Raptors, Wizards, and the Kings. Warriors have been playing well winning 6 of their last 7 at home. They have recently beat the Hornets, Thunder, Nuggets, and Bulls at home. Pinny opened up at -5 -102 / +5 -108 and so far I see the action on the Celtics (86%) and the line has moved to -4½ -107 / +4½ -103. I don't see a blowout happening here, this game should be close through every quarter.

    02/23/2011 CHICAGO BULLS -8.5 -110 1.5U

Toronto 6-6 ats on b2b. Toronto played the bulls back in december on back to back and lost by 17 at home. Toronto is 1-5 SU and 2-4 ats when being a home dog by 5 points or more. They have had some beatings at home. They lost to the Lakers by 10, Bulls by 17, Celtics by 14, Spurs by 11, and Heat by 8. Chicago is well rested and Noah will be playing. Noah is pumped he is playing and should be a big factor in this game. I missed the opening line at -8
