    how good are the dallas mavs as a team

    there on a nice winning streak and there number 2 atm in the west but how good are they.


    does this team have what it takes to beat lakers or spurs or even get passed the 1st round.

    my question is how good are they even if they end up losing its fine but how good is this team.


    a team like the lakers are a 3rd seed playing possibly one of the worse seasons in a while and they get more respect than dallas.

    I think they could make a run, they are streaky this year, and have always had pretty good success against SA. But then again they could not show up and go home in the first round. Hard to gauge this team.

    They are the same team they have been the last 5+ years.. I don't notice a big difference, the players have changed, but they are still the same team.. and Dirk is a choke artist in the playoffs.

    The Chandler trade was great for them.

    But the loss of Butler will hurt them come the playoffs.

    Mavs have the experience, big men, a closer and a great offensive system. Also a very good zone D. They might get closer than most expect this year.
